Find out about Transportation planning in Your Area

Child walking along neighborhood sidewalk.If you're interested in transportation decisions made in the five-county area, here are several ways you can get involved:

  • Take our short survey! Your answers provide insight into what the public sees as the region's transportation priorities.
  • Find out what's currently planned! Both the Long Range Transportation Plan (20-25 years) and the Transportation Improvement Program (projects for the next 2-3 years) are available on this website.
  • Come to MPO meetings. All TCC meetings and Board meetings are open to the public. Find out about other meetings.
  • E-mail a suggestion to the staff. If we're aware of an ongoing project or study related to your suggestion, we'll fill you in on what's happening.
  • Let your elected officials know what you think. You can find contact information for each member of the MPO Executive Board on this website.
  • Review the Public Participation Plan. This plan was adopted by the MPO Executive Board as the structure for ensuring public participation in regional transportation decisions.
