2040 RTP Documents

On February 17, 2016, the MPO executive board adopted the 2040 Regional Transportation Plan, also known as "Middle Tennessee Connected." The plan serves as the gateway for federal transportation funds that are distributed through the U.S. DOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and represents the region's top priorities for state funding as the Tennessee Governor and TDOT prepare the annual three-year work program for the Tennessee General Assembly. The RTP contains transportation projects that are derived from city and county governments, public transit agencies, and the TDOT who each have submitted their requests for funding through a call-for-projects issued by the MPO in 2014.

Given the recent adoption of th RTP, this page is currently being updated with final versions of the document. Please share any questions or comments by email to comments@nashvillempo.org.
